About This Role: The Principal Analyst will conduct innovative research and deliver advice through written reports, client inquiries, speeches, and consulting. This role is part of Forrester's research team and helps senior tech leaders such as heads of enterprise applications across the globe to maximize the business value of technology. The Principal Analyst will require intensive knowledge of and experience with the issues that technology leaders face every day, specializing in the evolution of enterprise resource planning (ERP) (i.e., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and enterprise performance management (EPM) (i.e., Anaplan, Oracle, IBM, Planful) products. This individual will be well-versed in ERP products, enterprise business apps and ERP strategy, best practices, implementation, and cloud migration strategies as well as product selection and contract negotiation. Success in this position entails the ability to work with various ERP and EPM product vendors in the market, evaluate them, conduct and publish research, present the research and insights, along with advising senior client leaders across industries. Please note that the base salary range indicated here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition, with the exception of New York City. This salary range is based upon the position as described in the job listing. The offered compensation may vary within this range and is dependent upon the successful candidate's primary work location, experience, training, education, and credentials. For employees based in Washington State, the percentage listed here is an estimated incentive bonus target as a percentage of base salary, in accordance with the Employee Bonus Plan.
