MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH), a member ofMaineHealth, seeks afull-timepsychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)to join our integratedteam with Southern Maine Health Care in Kennebunk, Maine. The PMHNPwill join the Pediatrics teamto provide psychiatric consultation and care tohelp shape services for amultidisciplinary outpatient clinic. Educating the care team on psychiatric approaches to behavioral health conditions is an exciting part of the role.The ideal candidate will have a passion for treatingchildren of all ages andyoung adultswith behavioral healthdisorders.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Master's degree with an advanced knowledge of nursing theory and practice, and additional medical training.

• License/Certification: Current and valid license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner by the Maine State Board of Nursing and qualified to do psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Specific credentialing criteria are needed if working in the hospital as defined by Medical Staff By-Laws.

• Experience: 2+ years of patient care as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in a community mental health center or hospital is preferred.

• Advanced skill and knowledge in conducting psychiatric evaluations and treating patients.
